Obsolete Techniques From The Diet World - Cheat Days

The truth about diets is that they set you up for failure. Cheat days create conflict. They make you want more of what you want to stop eating. You start with a little piece, then you have another and another, then you say you'll do better next week...They don't work. For people maintaining their relative health, if you're in that good of shape, you should be able to eat whatever you want and not be phased. But what some people want and what I want are two different things. I don't want procesed foods, I don't have any need for them.

And I don't want to participate in any action with the word cheat in it. How can real progress be made if you NEED a day to relax from the stress you caused yourself by "eating right" all week?

Don't suppress the types of foods you want. There is always an alternative that will actually give you energy, and it tastes even better than the processed version. It won't seem like it at first because chemicals numb the taste buds. The real addiction is to the chemical reaction, not so much the taste, but they can go together. Include flavors of food you like from natural sources. Make sure to get all the five flavors; sour, bitter, sweet, spicy and salty. If you gain weight very easily or cannot lose weight easily, then there are many areas to consider looking at, like thyroid problems, lymph system problems and many others.
