Here it is straight from the city itself. This is the Annual Drinking Water Quality Report from Chandler Water Company I just received, and it's probably not much different in the rest of the U.S., all of them follow similar guidelines. I guess if someone gets cancer they don't want to be held responsible...disgraceful.
Some people are drinking this water and worse, showering in it every day. Your skin absorbs up to twenty times more water than when you drink it.
Read carefully, but I don't think the inconsistencies are hard to spot. This report is confusing to say the least. They say the water meets or exceeds all safety standards...well which one is it? I don't think they even know. If they were really confident about wouldn't they say meets AND exceeds all safety standards?
One of my favorite lines is, "Even the world's best scientists don't yet know what the presence of these substances [pharmaceuticals and personal care products] in water means to human health. In fact, most commercial laboratories are not equipped to analyze these compounds yet."
This must be a joke...
Who do I contact with answers about Drinking Water?
